Our world is changing fast. The death of TV as we know it is becoming a reality. TV ratings dropped 33% over the past 4 years. A few years back a new market has emerged Pay TV where subscribers can control everything they watch.

But Now Pay TV services are struggling once again as subscribers are cutting the cord getting less convinced with their service. But now an interesting service is here with the capability to control live TV and DVR features with Alexa voice commands.

Also now their is a new special television built with Alexa. Alexa TV with the voice assistant integrated in. It is easier now to use Alexa than the previous method, where you had to buy a Fire TV Streaming Media Player or Fire TV Stick to your television.

Dish Network is marketing this new technology by integrating with Amazon Alexa. Pay TV customers who use Hopper or Wally receivers have the power to search for programs, change channels, also pause, rewind, fast forward and resume their favorite television channels.

“Alexa, go to the History Channel”
“Alexa, find the Big Bang Theory”
